Santiago del Teide Ayuntamiento has announced that after nearly ten years in the planning, building is at long last starting on the new 5* touristic complex Cristal Building right at the top of Los Gigantes. The apartments will naturally have the most stunning of views, all of them overlooking the cliffs, the sports harbour and over to La Gomera, and each having two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a private pool. Santiago del Teide mayor
Emilio Navarro is understandably elated for the municipality to be able to join the likes of the Adeje and Guia de Isora Costas in providing luxury tourism in a clear manifestation of the Canarian Government’s up-market strategy. The Cristal Building apartments are being constructed by famous Belgian architects ILB Architecten and will cost upwards of €750,000.
