A 46-year-old woman died this lunchtime when her car left the TF5 near San Juan de la Rambla and crashed into a wall. The accident happened just before half past one this afternoon, and emergency services say that they were called out with reports of the accident in which the woman had become trapped in the car and needed to be cut out by bomberos. Sadly, however, she succumbed to the injuries she had sustained in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. A 13-year-old boy who was also in the vehicle was transferred with hip injuries to the Hospital del Norte where his condition is said to be comfortable.
