There are a couple of popular Christmas markets this Friday 14 December. The first is in Playa de las Américas, on the Golden Mile, between 5 and 10pm, and will see stalls with Christmas goods and lots of activities and performances for everyone. It’s billed as a “Special Christmas Night”, an evening full of festive magic with live music in such a popular holiday hotspot. Also on Friday, and also between 5 and 10pm, there’s the traditional Christmas market in Guía de Isora with the streets around the chuch in the old town full of stalls selling sweets, chestnuts, handicrafts, and seasonal fare as well as activities and workshops for children. As well as the Guía de Isora market, the council has said there will also be one in Alcalá on Saturday 22 December. The full Christmas programmes from several Ayuntamientos are HERE.
