Every two years Puerto de la Cruz hosts an Agatha Christie Festival, and this year’s will be between 4 and 10 November, with the usual film screenings, enactments, talks and readings of her works and her relationship with Puerto de la Cruz. She stayed in the Hotel Taoro in the 1920s while writing The Man from the Sea, its setting the La Paz area itself. There’s a nice article from the last festival HERE in the Telegraph about the town and Christie herself. This is the seventh time the festival will have been held since its inception in 2007.
