Updated 21 January: And Spain has its winner – Miki will sing La Venda in Tel Aviv in May to represent the country in Eurovision 2019. It was one of the favourites but has clearly split opinion, with some thinking it’s Spain in a nutshell, and others forecasting “nil points” and “última posición”!

Updated 17 January:  Finally, another vote that isn’t about Brexit! Spain’s final choice for its Eurovision 2019 entry will be made this Sunday evening, on La1, from 9pm. From midnight tomorrow, however, they can be heard and downloaded in their entirety HERE.

Updated 4 January 2019: It’s getting closer! Spain has got its prospective Eurovision entries down to ten, and on the 20th of this month there will be a gala Operación Triunfo show to choose the winner which will represent the country in Tel Aviv in May. There is a youtube video excerpting all the songs HERE … and for me it’s Noelia or Sabela, but who knows?! The ten are:

María – Muérdeme
Noelia – Hoy vuelvo a reír otra vez
Natalia – La clave
Sabela – Hoy soñaré
Miki – La venda
Natalia & Miki duet – Nadie se salva
Famous – No puedo más
Julia – Qué quieres que haga
Carlos Right – Se te nota
Marilia – Todo bien

Spain’s official Eurovision website is HERE, and there’s also THIS youtube channel.
