The island of Tenerife is situated around 200 miles off the west coast of Africa, about 28 degrees latitude north and 16.5 degrees longitude west. The largest of the Canary Islands, but still only has 786 square miles.
Tenerife truly has something for everyone, while the North houses the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife it is also very green. In contrast the South is dry and sunny, creating ideal conditions for tourists from around the globe.
In the centre of the island is the highest mountain of the Spanish territories, Mount Teide. Standing at 12,198ft and the third largest volcanic structure in the World.
An idyllic location with all year round sun, sea and of course surf. The coastline is lined with beaches. The South of the island has become a much loved location in particular with the British.
