Updated 8.30pm: It wasn’t an alert for long, but it’s always better to be safe than sorry with children … Jonathan has been found alive and well in the El Sauzal area. The authorities have thanked the public for their assistance in locating him.

Original post 6 November: Jonathan José Waguemert is just 14 years old and has gone missing in La Orotava. The authorities and missing persons agencies are asking for help in finding him since he disappeared in the Colombo area. At present, Policía Local, the Guardia Civil and Protección Civil are searching for him. When last seen, Jonathan was wearing an orange sweatshirt and dark trousers. If anyone can help, please call the Guardia Civil on 922 330 643 or the La Orotava Policía Local on 922330114.
