A man died this morning after collapsing on the coast between Palm Mar and el Fraile. Emergency services say that they were called out just before half past nine with reports that the man had been seen unconscious on a part of the coast that was very difficult to get to. A GES helicopter was dispatched and its crew, establishing that the man was in cardiac arrest, attempted resuscitation while he was being flown to the Adeje Bomberos helipad. Ambulance crew took up the resuscitation efforts while he was being transferred to Hospiten Sur, but sadly he was confirmed as dead on arrival. At present no details are available about the man.
