A 60-year-old man died just after midnight last night when he was run over by his own car in Tacoronte. Emergency services say that they were called out to the incident in calle Barranco de San Juan at 12.32am with reports that the man had been trapped between his vehicle and a wall, but sadly after Bomberos had freed him, ambulance crew were unable to assist and he was declared dead at the scene from the injuries he had sustained in the accident.
