Tenerife’s bomberos were in action last night fighting a major blaze in a vehicle workshop in the Güímar industrial estate. The brigade says that over 50 firemen were involved in the incident which started around 9pm and which saw around 40 cars completely incinerated. The huge flames were visible for miles around and throughout the whole of the Güímar valley, but thankfully apart from the severe material damage the fire caused, there were no injuries or fatalities.
