The body of an unidentified middle-aged man was found early this morning in Calle La Marina in Santa Cruz. Police say that they received various calls shortly before 8am from passers-by and that emergency services were notified. Sadly, however, ambulance crew and a doctor attending the scene could not help the man, who was declared dead at the scene. Homelessness is a serious and tragic problem in Tenerife, so if anyone wanted to help, a good place to start might be the homeless charity Noah’s Ark – I’ve written about it HERE.
