The annual Tapeando Isora will run for the ninth time this year from 22 November to 9 December. As before, the ruta will be limited to certain days, and these are the Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays of the period, and so 22, 23, 24, 25, 29 & 30 of November, and  1, 2, 6, 7, 8 & 9 December. On these days, tapas with an accompanying drink will be on offer for just €2.50.

This tapas route is now getting a real name for itself, and marking Guía de Isora out as a centre of gastronomy in Tenerife. As usual, those following the ruta will be able to enter a prize draw by getting their card stamped by the participating establishments and voting for their favourite – cards are available from all participating bars and restaurants, and municipal tourism offices. The event is organized, as usual, by the Ayuntamiento de Guía de Isora, and the full list of participating establishments will be released in due course – at present the council is still registering participants.

To coincide with the tapas route, the restaurant Muelle Viejo in Alcalá will be holding different wine tastings from a range of bodegas as explained on the poster below. The tastings will be held on 2, 9, 16 and 23 November between 6.30 and 8pm, and a reservation has to be made in advance by calling the number on the poster.
