Granadilla Ayuntamiento has announced that El Médano beach has been closed while investigations are carried out into a sewage spill. The council says that it has instructed Entemanser, responsible for the drainage systems, to look into whether there had been a problem in their network or whether there is some sabotage. The beach will remain closed until at least the first results of the analysis which are being carried out today by public health inspectors
