The UK’s Foreign Office has issued updated information for British nationals affected by rape or sexual assault in Spain. The FCO document, HERE, provides advice on reporting the crime to the police, accessing medical treatment and engaging with the legal authorities here. This is part of a series of guidance reports drawn up covering many parts of Spain so does not signify any particular problem in Tenerife. I hope this might be useful to anyone affected by this awful crime.
