Updated 27 December: Just a reminder that Dirty Dancing starts today at the auditorium in Santa Cruz, and there are still tickets available. The show runs from today until Friday 4 January.

Original post 1 August: Every Christmas there’s one spectacular show or another in the Santa Cruz auditorium, with past performances of Jesus Christ Superstar, Beauty and the Beast, Mamma Mia, The Sound of Music, and Sister Act, and this year the roll call will be increased by Dirty Dancing, here in Tenerife from Thurday 27 December to Friday 4 January as part of a national tour. Tickets starting at €17.50 are now on sale on the Dirty Dancing website HERE where there is full information about the production, or in the auditorium box office 10am to 7.30pm Mondays to Saturdays, or through the auditorium’s website HERE, or by phone to 902 317 327. The following video should hopefully give a flavour of this marvellous production, and there’s a Facebook page for the tour HERE.
