Updated 11 January: Perhaps the same international series as mentioned yesterday, but this time Casting Canaries isn’t just seeking infants for filming in March, but girls and boys between 10 and 14 years of age. Parents should send an email email@example.com with photos, full name, contact phone number, island of residence (can be Tenerife or Gran Canaria), date of birth, height and build, and level of English. Children preselected will be called for a precasting in person on 22 and 23 January (Tenerife).
Updated 10 January 2019: Casting Canarias is seeking to cast an infant for an international series. The child should be between three and nine months old, and be available for filming in March. Parents interested should send photos and the fulll names, contact phone number, island where they live, date of birth of the child and its height and build to firstname.lastname@example.org. Parents of the children selected will be contacted by email to attend a casting in Santa Cruz on 22 and 23 January.
Updated 11 December 2018: Casting director Camilla Isola (IMDb HERE) is seeking a 17-19-year-old boy to play a part on an international film. Filming will take around 3-5 days in Tenerife, with dates to be confirmed, but the successful applicant must be able to speak English. Anyone who would like to apply (the part is a paid acting role) should send a photograph to email@example.com: they will then be sent instructions on how to record a self-tape for consideration.

Updated 8 November: Casting Canarias are seeking waitresses who know how to carry trays and platters like professional waiting staff. Applicants should be between 18 and 30, and should send an email urgently to firstname.lastname@example.org: the email should include a photo, full name, date of birth, phone number and contact email address, as well as shirt, trousers and shoe sizes.
Updated 26 October: Casting Canarias are seeking Latin-looking barmen and waiters (that is bar”men” not bar-“persons”) between 25 and 40 years of age to take part in shooting an international film. Those interested should send an email to email@example.com before this coming Monday 29 October: the email should include photos, full name, phone number, date of birth, height and build/size.
Updated 25 September: This is a busy time for filming in the Canaries, including two international movies. And in addition to the calls put out yesterday for black children, English-speaking girls, Latin-looking youngsters between 2 and 16, Casting Canarias are also today looking for teenagers between 14 and 18: being legal minors, again parents must apply for them, and should also apply before midday this Thursday 27 September by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with photos, full name, phone number, date of birth, and height and build. Those pre-selected will be called for a casting in person on 28 and 29 September.

Updated 24 September: Casting Canarias are looking for youngsters between the ages of 2 and 16 and who have “latin features” for an international film being shot in Tenerife. Anyone who looks particularly Mexican will be advantaged. Those pre-selected will be contacted by email to attend a casting in person in Santa Cruz on 28 and 29 September.
Updated 13 September: Casting Canarias has issued an urgent call for a woman who knows how to do yoga for an advert to be filmed between 25 and 29 September. Must be 25 to 35 years old. Anyone interested should send photos, name and phone number to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5pm tomorrow, Friday 14 September.
Updated 6 June: Casting Canarias is looking for women between 25 and 30 years of age and between Spanish sizes 40 and 48 for a publicity campaign filming on 13 and 14 June. Applicants should send an email to email@example.com today, Wednesday 6 June, including photos, full name, contact phone number, date of birth, height and size.
Updated 3 May: Casting Canarias is looking for black and mixed-race men and women between 18 and 40 years of age, and women of any colour between 18 and 35 years of age and from 1.68m to 1.72m tall, for an international publicity campaign. Applicants must be available between 16 and 19 May. Anyone interested should send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org before midday tomorrow Friday 4 May, and include photos, full name, contact phone number, height and size.
Updated 27 February: Casting Canarias is looking for grey-haired men between 50 and 70 for an advertising slot to be filmed between 5 and 8 March. Applicants should send an email to email@example.com by 8pm tomorrow, 28 February, with subject matter “CANOSO”. The email should include photos, full name, and a contact phone number.
Updated 23 February: Arona Ayuntamiento is holding a casting for the first Tenerife Fashion Weekend on 18 May. Auditions are being held today at 4pm in the agency Olé Group at calle Suárez Guerra 40 (6º izquierda) in Santa Cruz (between Plaza Weyler and Plaza del Principe).
Updated 17 February (3): Casting Canarias is looking for women who do yoga, or at least who can pose upside down easily, for a publicity spot between 1 and 6 March. Anyone interested should send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with YOGA as the subject matter. The email should include photos, a demo video, full name and contact phone number.
Updated 17 February (2): Casting Canarias is looking for young men who look like urban skaters for an advertising filming between 1 and 6 March. I don’t know what they envisage but the image they provide is on the left (click to enlarge). They say applicants should not be heavily tattoeed, and should be between 25 and 28 years of age. Updated 17 February: Casting Canarias is looking for (specifically) medium sized dogs for an advertising filming on 3 and 4 March. Small and large dogs need not apply! Anyone interested should send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject PERRO: the email should include photos of the dog, name of owner, and a contact phone number.
Updated 8 January 2018: Casting Canarias is looking for contemporary and ballet dancers between 18 and 30 for an advertising filming in Tenerife between 14 and 16 January. Those who fit the criteria should send an email to email@example.com with the subject “Bailarina”, and include in the email photos, complete name and a contact number.
The company is also seeking women who are acrobatic and/or jugglers for another advertising slot filming at the same time. Applicants should be between 20 and 40 years of age, and should send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “Acróbatas”, and include in the email photos, complete name and a contact number.
Finally, Casting Canarias is seeking slim women aged between 40 and 50 to film an advertising slot. Again it will take place between 14 and 16 January, and applicants should send an email to email@example.com with the subject “mujeres delgadas”, and include in the email photos, complete name and a contact number.
Updated 19 May 2017: Casting Canarias is looking for female runners between 18 and 35 with athletic bodies for a publicity campaign being organized by an international sports brand. The casting is being called in Tenerife, Gran Canaria and La Palma, and those interested should send face and whole body photos plus contact phone numbers and the island in which they reside to firstname.lastname@example.org. Those who are pre-selected will be called to an audition next week, between 22 and 24 May.
Updated 23 February: Jet2holidays are looking for various extras for a new advert due to be filmed in Tenerife next month. The companies says that they will need various background extras (possibly 20) and three slim girls between 25 and 35 years old to be Jet2 reps. They will provide the uniforms, and although the rep parts are not speaking roles they involve slightly more work than the normal background extras.
Filming will take place between 6 and 15 March, and will involve ten-hour days with an hour lunch break, and the majority of it will be in Playa Paraiso near the Hard Rock Hotel.
