The very popular Virgen del Carmen fiesta in Los Cristianos is 28 August-2 September, with the flotilla of boats leaving the harbour carrying an icon of the Virgen’s statue after the 7pm Mass this Sunday 1 September.  Although the procesión marítima with its floral offerings should start around 9pm, be at the harbour early because the crowds are significant! There’ll be fireworks after the procession. For more information about the Virgen del Carmen and the summer season of fiestas, please see HERE.
